Steele Creek Swim, founded by Daniel, is a rapidly growing youth swim program based in Charlotte, North Carolina. What started as a five-week fall swim clinic has expanded into a structured three-month program with nearly 90 swimmers, ranging from ages 5 to 18. Daniel, a seasoned coach, recognized the need for an advanced swim program beyond summer league but without the rigorous commitment of year-round clubs. His mission? To create a home for swimmers who wanted to continue improving their skills while staying engaged in a fun, competitive environment.

The Challenge

Transforming Meet Management: From Chaos to Clarity

Before Swimmingly, Daniel relied on outdated meet management methods—stopwatches, paper records, and endless hours of manual data entry. Tracking swimmer progress was a tedious process, and sharing results with parents required a lot of extra effort. The inefficiency wasn’t just an inconvenience; it took valuable time away from creating a better experience for swimmers.

Even with experience using traditional software, Daniel found himself bogged down in a cycle of downloading and uploading files and managing meet entries. The process was cumbersome and disconnected, making it difficult to showcase individual swimmer growth over time. He needed a smarter, more intuitive solution—one that could streamline meet operations, provide real-time access to results, and actively engage swimmers and their families without adding hours of administrative burden.
